About that picture---That is me back when I was "working" for a living.  After nearly 35 years in the investment business--sales, sales training and then compliance (catching all the crooks I could find) I decided retirement sounded like a good idea.  I started www.boomwhackersandmore.com and I sell a LOT of Boomwhackers and related books there.  I also discovered that a lot of competing sites seem to be long on hype and short on service--at least that's what my customers tell me.

In the course of buying product from a variety of sources I decided it was time to expand and offer more products for a variety of reasons.  First, frankly, retirement is kind of boring.  It doesn't pay the bills either--lol!!!  Second, I'm pretty sure I can do at least as good a job--and I hope, a LOT better job--of having what people are looking for-- either in stock, on the way, OR as a "special order."  I do orders nearly every week--if not more often--so it doesn't take long to get your merchandise!

It took two years for me to develop this second website.  Ain't retirement grand????  Actually I wanted to figure out what (?) and how (?) I was going to sell something interesting.  I have the musical talent of a gnat.  So, why on earth music supplies?  Mainly because I can get them and people want them.  AND I can offer great service and very reasonable prices coming from a "low overhead" location. 

As for a current picture--I'm not sure the censors would allow one of me sitting in my present state.  JUST KIDDING.  I do actually get dressed every day but I sure don't bother shaving very often!
